I have had a few concerned messages and phone calls regarding some of the content of the poems. Please don't be concerned, please be reassured this is part of my therapy and the mere fact I am openly sharing these experiences shows how far I have come. I acknowledge I still have a long way to go. Just for reassurance I am currently seeing my GP every 2 weeks and on the wait list for high intensity CBT.
I also wanted to acknowledge that I have not done this for sympathy. I'm just not that kind of girl! I did this for me, to prove something to myself, it's my way of coping and on the basis I wanted others who may be silently suffering to realise they are not alone.
It's important in my experience, to share your experiences regarding Mental Health but never say your going through the same thing. Every bodies experience of Mental Health is different. You may not relate at all to my poems but if one person relates to one sentence, then that's the idea. :-) #thankyou #positive #cbt #notlookingforsympathy
