When you feel like you can't get out of bed today. 

There is no worse feeling than when you wake up in the morning with that feeling in the pit of your stomach, whether it be that familiar anxious feeling, your just feeling down or you can't really describe it. You just want to stay in bed and hide from the world 🌍


Maybe you just need a self care day. It's ok to cancel plans to take care of you and your mind. If your body and mind are telling you you're tired listen to them 😊 Get up put a new pair of pj's on and get back into bed and take that time. You don't need to sleep necessarily but rest. Read a book, listen to a podcast, watch a film...you get the idea💡


So I get the above isn't always possible. Self care is ALWAYS possible though even in it's smallest form! If you're struggling to get out of bed take it easy - stick on your favourite uplifting song, maybe play a short guided meditation for wake up. Drink a glass of water, stretch those tired muscles. Take a longer shower than usual appreciating the rejuvenating experience.


Change the inner dialogue your having with yourself... Mine normally reverts to "nope I can't do this today". Say kind things to yourself like - "I know you're tired today but we can do this" or "let's get up but let's just take it one step at a time".


I know I bang on about breathing properly but do take the time to take a few deep breathes...really deep into your lower tummy. Then breathe out through your mouth slowly and controlled. It takes practice 😊


You may not be able to shake 'that' feeling today. However please know it won't last forever. Be kind to yourself even if you're busy. 😍


Just to share my morning with you so far it's consisted of a well being podcast and wake up meditation. I'm still feeling groggy and know I'll have to dig deep today but I'm up. I'm shortly going to make myself a good healthy breakfast to set me up for the day. Whatever you're doing take it easy.
